What to prepare for a first conversation
You do not need a full file to get in touch. A few basics, however, let us answer more precisely:
- Your company: name, country of establishment and EU VAT number, if you have one.
- Your activity: sales of goods or services, to businesses (B2B) or consumers (B2C), online or through a marketplace.
- Your flows in France: stock or warehouse, imports, deliveries to or from France, employees or premises.
- Your current position: whether a French VAT registration exists, returns already filed, letters received from the tax authorities.
- Your goal: getting compliant, registration, a VAT refund, an ongoing audit, or preparing for e-invoicing.
How a first meeting works
A first meeting is meant to understand your situation and outline, without commitment on your side, the steps that may apply. It usually follows four stages:
At the end of the conversation we point out what remains to be confirmed and, where relevant, the services that could meet your need: VAT filings, the OSS/IOSS scheme, e-invoicing readiness or appointing a fiscal representative for VAT.
FAQ
Which language can I use to write to you?
You can write to us in English or in French. The site is available in both languages.
Is the first conversation binding?
A first contact lets you explain your situation and understand the possible steps. Any terms of an engagement are set out before an assignment starts.
What information should I send at first?
A few items are enough: country of establishment, type of activity, flows involving France and your question. Detailed documents can follow.
Can I contact you if I have already received a letter from the tax authorities?
Yes. Tell us in your message what the letter concerns and any deadlines it mentions, so that we can take them into account in our reply.
